BRAINFART
A downloadable game for Windows
Brainfart is an interactive experiment, created in 2018 as a study on loneliness.
I have been working from home for over two years. As a result, I dearly miss my drive and the office morning routine.
My commute is now the walk from the kitchen, and the only noise I hear is the soft whir of my PC beginning to wake.
No more do I win imaginary arguments while I sit in traffic on the freeway. No more do I participate in morning jokes with my coworkers as we imbibe our morning caffeine.
As the first few months of my new work reality settled in, I noticed that I create my own commute of sorts: A meditative process of slowly checking into my space. I commute to a state of mind, rather than an office with friends—to find freedom in the stillness.

Note: "soundboard_moodboard.exe" is the current name of the game executable (a reflection of an older name of this project). This is planned to be fixed in future versions.
